Peec AI Review: A Good Tracker With a Thin Action Layer
Peec AI measures how AI assistants describe your brand, and it does that better than most of the market. Here is what it costs, where it stops, and whether about $95 a month buys a decision or just a dashboard.

Peec AI tracks how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and other assistants mention your brand, starting at €85 a month (about $95) for 50 prompts on 3 models, with unlimited users on every plan. Its citation and source analytics are the strongest part of the product. The limits: you track prompts the tool helps you pick rather than queries you know your buyers type, models beyond three cost extra, SOC 2 is still in progress, and the product tells you what moved far better than which page to change.

As a tracker, Peec AI is one of the cleanest products in the AI visibility category. You add prompts, pick three models and get a daily read on visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice against your competitors. Every plan includes unlimited users, so a whole marketing team reads the same dashboard for the price of one seat.
As an action engine, it stops one step short, and that is by design. The product is built to measure: it shows what changed in the answers and which sources the assistants used. Deciding which page to rewrite, and rewriting it, stays with you. You pay for a scoreboard and do the coaching yourself.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Visibility tracking | 9/10 | Daily tracking, share of voice, sentiment, competitors side by side. |
| Citation and source analytics | 9/10 | Retrieved domains, citation share, source categories. Rare depth. |
| Prompt selection | 6/10 | Suggested from your brand context, not from what buyers really type. |
| Action guidance | 5/10 | Shows what moved, not which page to change or how. |
| Value for money | 8/10 | About $95 with unlimited users. Fair if someone acts on it weekly. |
💵 What Peec AI costs
Peec AI is priced by prompts, not by seats, which is the most useful thing about it commercially. A ten-person content team pays the same as a solo consultant. Each self-serve plan tracks 3 models of your choice daily; more models cost extra.
| Plan | Price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | About $95/mo | 50 prompts, 3 models, 1 project, daily tracking, unlimited users |
| Pro | About $230/mo | 150 prompts, 3 models, 2 projects, daily tracking, unlimited users |
| Advanced | About $480/mo | 350 prompts, 3 models, 5 projects, multi-country, Looker Studio |
| Enterprise | Custom, annual | All models, up to 13 tracked, custom coverage and support |
An honesty note, because it matters on a review page: Peec bills in euros, so every dollar figure above is a conversion, not a published price. On 22 October 2026 the vendor pricing page listed €85, €205 and €425 a month, converted at the ECB rate of that week (1 EUR = 1.12 USD). An extra model adds about $28, $62 or $129 a month depending on the plan. Confirm the figure in your own currency at checkout.
🎯 Where it falls short
The score is only as good as the prompts behind it, and nobody knows how often real people type them. Peec suggests prompts from your brand context and your coverage gaps. That gives a decent market baseline, but there is no search volume for assistants yet, so a prompt list can look complete and still miss the questions your buyers actually ask.
Nothing in the product starts from the queries that already bring you customers. Your Search Console data is the closest thing you have to a list of buyer questions, and it is not where the prompt list comes from. Measure against a list you did not validate, and you optimise for the dashboard instead of the buyer.
Two procurement points to know before a trial: beyond three models you pay per additional model, and Peec states on its own comparison page that it is still pursuing SOC 2 certification.
ChatSEO audits which passages are quotable, rewrites them answer-first, and tracks your citations across the web and AI assistants, in one click.

Citation and source analytics are the reason to buy this tool. Under each prompt you see which domains the assistant used and your share of the citations, and every source is classified as competitor, editorial, reference or user-generated. That is a content brief in disguise: it names the type of page that gets quoted for a given question.
Read the visibility number as an internal trend line, never as market share. I go deeper into what makes a page quotable in my guide to ranking in Google AI Overviews.
🏆 Who should buy it, and who should not
Buy it if
Somebody's job is to act on the data every week. An in-house SEO or content team, several brands or markets, and a need for everyone to read one dashboard without paying per seat. At about $95 the entry plan is fair value for that setup.
Do not buy it if
You hope it will tell you what to do. The product reports what moved and who got cited; the fix is yours. If procurement needs SOC 2 today, wait for the certification.
What I tell clients
Before you pay, review the prompt list, not the dashboard. During the trial, keep the twenty prompts that sound like your buyers and delete the rest. A tracker earns its subscription only when the prompts are worth tracking.
🚀 The alternative I recommend: ChatSEO
Peec AI and ChatSEO solve adjacent problems, so read this as context rather than a switch pitch. Peec tells you where you stand inside AI answers. ChatSEO starts from your Search Console, finds the queries you already rank for, and rewrites the passages assistants are most likely to quote, so the visibility number has something to move it.
| Peec AI | ChatSEO | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Tracks visibility, sentiment and citations across AI assistants | Finds and rewrites the pages to fix, from your own query data |
| Where the plan comes from | Prompts suggested by the tool, edited by you | Queries you already rank for in Search Console |
| What it does not do | Tell you which page to change | Track a fixed prompt panel every day across 13 models |
The honest test: ask both tools which questions your buyers actually type. The one that names them is the one worth paying for. Try ChatSEO free.
❓ FAQ
Is Peec AI worth $95 a month?
Yes, if someone acts on the data every week. Fifty prompts on three models with unlimited users is fair value. It stops being worth it when the report is opened once a month and nothing on the site changes.
How does Peec AI pricing work?
By prompt volume, not by users, and billed in euros. Plans run from €85 to €425 a month, about $95 to $480, each with 3 models; extra models are an add-on and Enterprise is quoted annually.
What are the best Peec AI alternatives?
Profound for enterprise security needs, Otterly.ai for a cheaper entry point, and the AI visibility modules now built into Semrush and Ahrefs if you already pay for one. Compare the number of prompts and models before the price: cheaper usually means fewer of both.
Does Peec AI have a free trial?
Yes, the pricing page offers a free trial. Use it to test the prompt suggestions on your own brand before you commit.
Does Peec AI have SOC 2?
Not yet. Peec states that it is actively pursuing SOC 2 certification. If your security review blocks vendors without it, plan for that conversation before procurement.

📣 Before you pay for AI visibility tracking
Tracking is the easy half. Deciding which page to change, and rewriting it so an assistant quotes it, is what moves the number.
